9/28/05 - Searching for information on my great grandfather, William L. Moles "went by Willie", was married to Lillie L. Dalton. Following their divorce, Willie moved to Patrick County and died in a house fire. They had two children that I am aware of Josie Moles dob 1902, married to Charlie Bud Goad and Homer C. Moles dob 1899, married to Lucille Moles. According to records there may have been another daughter, Nora G. and Homer may have dropped his first name. I can be contacted at duskiedawn@prodigy.net

9/23/05 - My maiden name is Wiggins - and my father's name was Clyde Edward Wiggins. He was born 1929 and left the States when he was about 16. He stayed in Germany for the rest of his life. It would be very great if I could

April 29 - I am a descendant of Jonathan and Obidence "Barnett" Barnard. They lived in Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky. I would like anything you have on them. They were married in Goochland Co. Virginia Nov. 26, 1784 Jonathan died in Mercer Co. Ky. Oct 16, 1835. He was born Jan. 1, 1760 served in the Rev. War in Mass. We can't find his birthplace or mother's name. March 22 - I am researching the Vaught family of Warren County, Virginia. We are descendants of Simeon Vaught and although I can trace our line to Simeon, I am unable to obtain very much information about him or any further back. My husband's line descends as follows: Simeon, Ephraim, Gibson, William E., Edward Jackson, and Charles Edward, my husband's father.

Simeon died at Gooney Manor in Shenandoah County, VA, and most of our Vaught line came from the Bear's Den area in Warren County. I would appreciate any information that anyone is willing to share with me. My email address is scherrill@sbcglobal.net.

March 16 - I am the great granddaughter of Powell Benton REYNOLDS,oldest child of James Bartholomew and Roxana Shelor Reynolds of Meadows of Dan, Patrick Co., Va. Born Jan. 9, 1841. He served in the 50th VA and was later acting Pres. of WVU.

My great grandmother, was Virginia Henrietta WOOLWINE of Rockcastle, VA, born 1844 to Thomas B. Woolwine and Sarah Adams Woolwine. She married Powell Benton Reynolds on Jan. 38, 1868 and died Jan. 12, 1873 in St. Albans WV. I know very little about her.

My cousin and I are writing a book about our great grandfather. I am working to flesh out his life. In August, 2004 I visited MOD and met many wonderful Shelor, Reynolds, and other cousins. I was loaned a lot of material and given 3 letters PB wrote back to his father and sister.

Am wondering if there is more information scattered about.

February 26 - I have read a story about my Grandfather, Henry Harris, written in 1984 in your publication. I haven't had any trouble tracing his genealogy, and was fascinated by his story, that I never heard. I am now interested in finding out what I can about his first wife, by Grandmother, Mattie Marshall Harris. I can't find anything about her.

January 13, 2005 - Stanley Bowman, Laurel Fork, VA - My granny was Elizabeth Stanley Bowman. My mom died over 20 yrs ago, I have lost touch with everyone from her side of the family.
