Blue Ridge Institute's Annual Folklife Festival

On October 24, 1987 the Blue Ridge Institute of Ferrum College, Ferrum, Virginia will present Virginia's largest celebration of folkways from the Blue Ridge and surrounding regions, now in its fourteenth year. Authentic tradition-bearers demonstrate a vast array of craft and cooking skills. Woodcutter, draft horse, mule pulling, and coon dog competitions. A family event unsurpassed in educational and entertainment value. Hours will be from 10 a.m. until 5 a.m. at Ferrum College in Ferrum, Virginia.
